Impressions (for Violin, Soprano Sax, and Piano)
Impressions was written at the request of a saxophone player I met in Washington, D.C. on a trip with my son to the Scripps National Spelling Bee.
Impressions is a composite of modern-classical and jazz (Jean-Luc Ponty meets Stravinsky).
Of this work, the well-respected composer Samuel Adler wrote: "...a very excellent piece...full of musicality"
